  • Rachel Mckibbens, Rachel Mckibbens, Rachel Mckibbens... www.myspace.com/butchergirl

Buddy Wakefield...I am unsure where you can find his shit written, but it's good.

    Anis Mojgani... mojgani.livejournal.com

    and of course, Saul Williams.

    those four are pretty unfuckwitable.
    • I feel you on all of them and they are on my list for sure
I have to go to NYC to get Rachels work

I have Buddy and Anis for sure
And Sage I actually do not have on page at all
      • Rachel has a lot of new poems, page poems, on her myspace page blog that i linked up above. Not any of her famous slam stuff, but good poetry nonetheless. "Central Park; Mother's Day" --one of her best slam poems, is written out at the piper jane project myspace page. piper jane is Marty McConnel, Lynne Procope, Emily Kagan, and Rachel--all of which are phenomenal writers and performers. www.myspace.com/piperjaneproject --read their blog, and then visit their own pages as well...you'll find a few poems that might work really well for the class.

Patricia Smith is another slam poet that many people think works well on the page--she just released a new book pretty recently, and I think it got pretty good acclaim.
        • If it's Sage Francis from Providence your talking about, I'm not sure if he has anything on page. I know I have 3 CD's of his but no chaps. Try checking on the poetassylum web sight. They have a listing for chapbooks and such on sale for that region usually. Or Bob might know how to get it.
As for Patricia Smith, her work rocks.. in more ways than one.
